The low-frequency pig ear tag adopts a working frequency of 134.2kHz, one-to-one identification of low-speed working objects, strong interference to the outside world, can penetrate materials other than metal materials, and produces a relatively uniform reading and writing area of electromagnetic field energy, and maintains a high recognition rate within the recognition range.

The working frequency of pig ear tag is 920-925MHz, which can read multiple tags at the same time through RFID readers, and read them uniformly. However, high-frequency animal ear tags are susceptible to the influence of liquids and metals, and then the electromagnetic field energy of the tag decays with the increase of distance, showing a reduced energy magnetic field distribution, and the farther the distance, the higher the probability of reading, misreading and stabbing. Therefore, in animal breeding, low-frequency ear tags are often selected as animal management equipment, and high-frequency pig ear tags are rarely selected.
