RL04 This handheld device adopts wireless reading method and supports electronic labels in FDX-B (ISO11784/85) format.
The product uses a high-brightness OLED display that can display clearly even under strong light conditions indoors or outdoors. The product's built-in storage function can store up to 20,000 pieces of tag information, and users can read the stored information to a computer for data management through a USB data cable or wireless connection.
This product has stable performance and simple operation, and is suitable for animal management, traceability management, railway inspection and other asset management fields.

1. Turn on the computer

Press and hold the button for 2 seconds when the system is turned off. The system will turn on and enter the main display interface.

2. Scan the tag

Press the ; button in the main display interface. The main screen will display as ; and start scanning tags. After reading the tag information, the buzzer will sound and the current tag information will be displayed on the screen. If no tag information can be scanned within 10 seconds, the buzzer will beep for a long time and display no tag.

3.Data viewing
In the main interface, press the left button to scroll up to query tag information and time; press to scroll down to query tag information and time.

4.Automatic shutdown
In the powered-on state, if there is no key operation or data transmission within 30 seconds, the system will automatically shut down and enter sleep state.

5.Database management software
The handheld device comes with a USB2.0 interface. After connecting the reader to the computer using a USB cable, the database management software can be used to query the amount of stored information, copy data, delete data, and set system time.
Database management software is as follows:

Connect the reader to the computer with a USB cable, then open the database management software, click; Connect the device; after hearing a beep and popping up a successful connection prompt, you can proceed to the next step (the driver needs to be installed when using it for the first time) Key Function described as follows:

Disconnect: Disconnect: Disconnect the software from the device.

Read data: Read all the information stored in the reader.

Set time: The handheld unit is synchronized with the current computer time.

Delete data: Clear the tag information stored in the handset (note: the information cannot be recovered after it is cleared).

Single piece of data: Reading of a single piece of data.

Query number: Query the number of data stored in the current handheld device.

Clear display: clear the text box data.

Save file: Save the exported data to an Excel spreadsheet.

7.Bluetooth

When the scanner is equipped with a Bluetooth module, smart devices such as computers and mobile phones can be connected to the handheld machine through the Bluetooth interface to establish a communication link.

When using the Bluetooth function, turn on the wireless transmission function in the setting mode of the handheld device, and use the host computer to search for and add Bluetooth devices. The name of the Bluetooth device of the handheld device is HID-KB-UART. Select and click Auto Connect. After the device is successfully linked, the tag card number read by the card reader is automatically displayed at the cursor.

8. Precautions

This product is an electronic product and should be transported and stored as regular electrical equipment.

Prevent the reader from falling or being impacted from a high place.

Do not place the reader in high temperature, humid or corrosive environments.

Non-operators should not open the reader casing.

Please use the provided data cable for online operation.

Try not to remove the battery back cover frequently.

Please take out the battery when not using it for a long time to avoid battery leakage and corrosion of the circuit board.
