Expected usage
Salbutamol is a β-agonist drug, commonly known as clenbuterol, which can increase the carcass lean meat rate and has been widely added to feed. After eating animal foods containing salbutamol ( SAL ) residues, people will have chest pain, dizziness, persistent severe headache, severe hypertension, persistent nausea, vomiting, persistently increased heart rate or strong heart, irritability, and other symptoms. The use of this drug has been explicitly banned in countries around the world. The conventional instrument detection method is limited to the use of laboratory professionals. The operation is cumbersome and inconvenient to carry, so it cannot meet the needs of rapid detection in large quantities in actual production. Salbutamol ( SAL ) rapid detection card has the characteristics of convenient carrying, simple operation, fast, and high sensitivity, which is suitable for on-site detection of large quantities of samples.

Sample requirements
Sample collection should avoid cross-contamination. The collected samples should be tested on the same day. If they cannot be tested in time, they should be stored at 2 to 8°C. The storage period should not exceed 2 days.
Detection steps
1. Collect urine in a clean container.
2. After the detection card is removed and restored to room temperature, the aluminum foil bag is torn.
3. The ID number of the sample to be tested is recorded on the detection card.
4. Add 2 ~ 3 drops ( about 0.1 mL ) to the sample hole of the detection card slowly.
5. After 3 ~ 5 min, the color zone was observed and the results were judged.
Result determination
Negative ( - ) : Two red bands appeared. Indicates that the sample does not contain ractopamine ( RAC ) or its concentration is less than 3ppb.
Positive ( + ) : no red band appeared on the detection line ( T ), indicating that the concentration of ractopamine ( RAC ) in the sample was higher than 3ppb.
Invalid : no quality control line ( C ), indicating that the operation process is incorrect or the test card has failed.
Storage conditions and validity period
